After two years of meaningful cooperation, learning and shared commitment, we are proud to announce the successful completion of our Erasmus+ KA220-SCH project:

STAIRS – Raising Effectiveness of Learning in SEN Students through Inclusion and Reverse-Inclusion Activities

 Project number: 2023-1-FR01-KA220-SCH-000157806

 Project period: 1 November 2023–31 October 2025

STAIRS was created to strengthen teachers’ competences and develop more inclusive learning opportunities for students with special educational needs. Through inclusion, reverse-inclusion and non-formal learning activities, the project encouraged cooperation among teachers, students, families and educational communities.

Our European partnership brought together seven organisations from:

 France – Project coordinator

 Spain

 Türkiye

 Malta

 Norway

 Portugal

 Ireland

Together, the partners exchanged experiences, tested innovative educational approaches and developed practical resources that can continue supporting inclusive education beyond the project period.

 Our principal results include:

 A Manual of Good Practices

 A Train-the-Trainer Program

An online learning platform and open educational resources

 A practical toolkit for educators

 Assessment and self-evaluation tools

 Bite-sized learning materials

 National pilot activities

 Inclusion and reverse-inclusion classroom practices

Throughout the project, teachers strengthened their professional skills, students participated in inclusive learning experiences, and awareness of diversity, equality and special educational needs was promoted across the partner communities.

We sincerely thank every teacher, student, parent, expert and partner organisation that contributed to this journey. Your cooperation, dedication and belief in inclusive education made these results possible.

Although the funded project period has ended, our shared commitment continues. The knowledge, resources, partnerships and good practices developed through STAIRS will keep supporting educators and learners across Europe.

Together, we climbed the STAIRS towards a more inclusive future!
